CARTHAGE — Mrs. Trudie Verline Johnson, 82 of Carthage, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012. She was born in Carthage to the late Oscar and Rebecca Smith Moore.
Survivors include her sons, James Johnson and Boster Johnson, Jr., both of Carthage, Gary Johnson of Pine Bluff, Michael Johnson of Camden and Marcus Johnson of Bearden; daughters, Earlene Sanders and Carolyn Collins, both of Carthage, Alice Pryor and Brenda Clegg, both of Prattsville, Marilyn Johnson, Sharon Johnson and Vonda Johnson, all of Carthage, and Vickie Hicks of Pine Bluff; sisters, Odelia Locks of Malvern and Nannie Pattillo of Hot Springs; 41 Grandchildren, 47 Great Grandchildren and four Great Great Grandchildren.
Her Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 14th at Carthage Gymnasium in Carthage by Rev. Kenneth Juniel, Sr.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
Family Hour will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church at Carthage.
The family will be at 311 East Central Ave., Carthage, Ark.
