SHERIDAN — Three runs in the third inning helped Sheridan stay within a half-game of 6A-South Conference leader Benton with a 4-1 baseball victory over Lake Hamilton on Friday.
Sheridan (14-4, 6-1 in 6A-South) won with only two hits. One of them came in the third inning, when it drew two walks and two hit batsmen.
Grady Finley allowed three hits and a walk in a complete-game victory.
Lake Hamilton fell to 4-4 in the 6A-South.

HARMONY GROVE — Braden Chambers struck out eight batters in seven innings to lead the Redbugs (10-4, 2-2 in 8-3A) to victory.
Harmony Grove got only four hits and six walks off Chambers. Austin Hollis had two hits and Daniel Harris added one for Fordyce.
In softball, Fordyce beat Harmony Grove 11-2.
Warren 14, Lake Village Lakeside 2 (5 inn.)
Warren improved eased to an 8-4A Conference win over Lake Village Lakeside on Friday to improve to 8-12 overall and 5-5 in the conference.
Aaron Church and Logan Adams split duties on the mound with Church picking up the win in 3 1/3 innings. Church struck out four and allowed four hits. Adams finished up the final 2 2/3 innings, fanning seven and allowing one hit.
Church led a 15-hit Lumberjack hitting attack with two doubles a single and four RBIs. Calyx Harris went 3 for 4, Troy Sellers tripled, singled and drove in two, Randy Gorman singled and doubled and Austin Emanuel singled twice.

Camden Relays
The Pine Bluff boys track and field team finished third in the Camden Relays Saturday.
Patrick Grady completed a hat trick with three individual gold medals in the 800-meter (2:06), mile (4:45) and two-mile (11:06) events.
Grady also helped the Zebras pick up a win in the 4×800-meter event with Eric Williams, Chris Foster and Joshua Caver.
Foster also medaled with a second-place finish in the 800 (2:08).
