From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Saracen Landing, the second annual Worldwide Day of Play will be held.
Participants include the Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation community centers, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and sponsorship by MLB and Pine Bluff natives Torii and Katrina Hunter.
The community is urged to join in a day of play, according to the Odyssey Concierge which continues its dedication to community, family, health and fitness.
Worldwide Day of Play is an annual event designed to encourage kids and parents to turn off the television and play, especially outdoors.
“The event was first shown Oct. 2, 2004, on Nickelodeon…The event is designed as a finale for Nick’s six-month long ‘Let’s Just Play’ campaign. In addition, www.nick.com will also have special features for children to learn how to stay active and healthy.”
