To honor World No Tobacco on Sunday, May 31, Stamp Out Smoking is joining forces with the World Health Organization and partners to focus on ending the harms caused by the illicit trade of tobacco products throughout the world.
Stamp Out Smoking asks Arkansans to help end the smuggling of tobacco products across state lines.
Countries throughout the world are subject to illicit tobacco trade in some form. In response to the threat posed by illicit tobacco trade, the international community adopted the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products in November 2012.
Stamp Out Smoking encourages tobacco users to call the Arkansas Tobacco Quitline (1-800-QUIT-NOW) and to get help to quit tobacco.
