Work leads to lane closure in Grant County

A drainage improvement project will require a lane closure to replace a culvert beneath Arkansas 46 in Grant County.

Crews will work between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, July 20-23, weather permitting, according to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

The work will be performed 4.7 miles east of U.S. 270, between Sheridan and Redfield, reducing traffic to one lane within the work zone. A temporary patch will be placed at the site at night allowing both lanes to be open.

Drivers should be cautious when traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com
