The society received awards for volunteer hours donated, most value of items donated, the number of new members, number of new junior members, insignia, national library donations, and scholarships, according to a news release.

Third Vice President General Linda Vandenberg White presented the award certificates to state President Sharon Stanley Wyatt at the Pine Bluff Country Club during the state Board of Management meeting.

The annual BOM is rotated between three chapters in Fordyce, Pine Bluff and Hot Springs.

The BOM, consisting of state officers, state chairmen and chapter presidents, is charted to consider that chapters and the state activities are within the welfare of the society and develop a proposed budget, according to the release.
