State President Kay Tatum recognized people for milestones or service during a recent virtual meeting of the 107th United States Daughters of 1812 State Council.
New members who joined in 2020 were recognized, according to a news release.
Honorees were:
• From the Simon Bradford Chapter, Pine Bluff: Susan Kathleen Balkman, Nancy Lorrane Bartlett and Nonnie Lee Carroll.
• From the Baseline-Meridian Chapter, Little Rock: Mary Faye Coker, Ellen Elizabeth Cook, Caryn Kern Cosper, Olivia Jean Kucharzyk, Bobby Harlene Lovell, Jerri Margaret Taylor, Susan Kathleen Balkman, Nancy Lorrane Bartlett and Nonnie Lee Carroll.

Membership milestone certificates were presented to Frankie Ochsner for 35 years and Sheila Beatty-Krout for 25 years of membership.
A Special Gift of Music for Veterans award was presented to Kim Bailey, Sheila Beatty-Krout, Mary Ellen Laursen and Belinda Jones for their work in acquiring guitars and pianos for the Eugene Towbin Veterans Affairs Medical Center at North Little Rock.
Christina Twardowski was given the “Most New Members” certificate as registrar of the Baseline-Meridian Chapter.
The Super Ambassador Award went to Frankie Ochsner for her dedication in recognizing junior ROTC and ROTC Cadets.
Member Arvetta Swift was named a Super Angel and the President’s Love and Devotion Award was given to Sheila Beatty-Krout.
