Curtis Williams and Pamela Williams-Thrower of Pine Bluff announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Whitney Nicole Williams to Brandon Marquise Sims, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Williams of Pine Bluff.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Myrtle Joshua and the late Mr. Floyd Joshua; and Mrs. Estelle Williams and the late Mr. Themanuel Williams, all of Pine Bluff.
Whitney is a 2004 graduate of Watson Chapel High School. She also attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She is currently employed at Simmons Bank in Human Resources.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Wade and the late Jodi Wade; and Mrs. Sadie Nance and the late Mr. Charlie Nance Jr.
Brandon is a 2001 graduate of Pine Bluff High School and a 2011 graduate of Southeast Arkansas College with an associate degree in Computer Information Systems. He is currently attending the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, majoring in Computer Science. He is employed as a computer tech for the Pine Bluff School District.
The invitation only wedding vows and reception dinner will be at 4 p.m. June 20, 2015, at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, 812 E. Harding in Pine Bluff.
The reception will be held at 6 p.m. at Harbor Oaks in Pine Bluff.
