White Hall swept its boys matches and took only one girls contest Monday, Sept. 15, in a dual meet against Hope at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
Garrett Reed dominated a tiebreaker against Luis Cortes 7-1 to take a 9-8 win, and Ethan Bridgforth was victorious over Kyle Tompkins 6-1. Austin Smith and Jacob Bowman teamed up to beat Tompkins and Simmons Bamber 9-8 after a 7-4 tiebreaker. Daniel Heikes and Griffin Haynes won their match 8-1.
Erin Davis was the only White Hall girl to win Monday, Sept. 15, beating Cheyenne Burkhart 8-0. For Hope, Sarah Grace Brown handed Martha Pearce her first loss of the season, 8-4.
Hope swept the girls doubles, with Amy Cob and Racie Poindexter defeating Kathleen Bridgforth and Loveleen Kaur 8-4, and Kedriel Green and Shyanne Calhoun beating Erica Smith and Sarah Poindexter 8-2.
White Hall will play at Magnolia on Sept. 23.
