White Hall police reports

On March 30 at 12:55 p.m., a two-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 530 at its intersection with U.S. 270.

Christopher J. Lovell of Benton said he was stopped at the end of the off-ramp from Interstate 530 merging onto U.S. 270 when the vehicle he was driving was struck in the rear.

Damage to the 2014 Chevrolet he was driving was estimated at $100.

The driver of the other vehicle, Jorge Villacis of Pine Bluff, said he was slowing down to merge onto U.S. 270 and thought the other vehicle had already merged and when he turned to look for oncoming traffic, he ran into the rear of the other vehicle.

Damage to the 2006 Chrysler he was driving was estimated at $100.

There were no citations issued.

On April 1 at 6:30 p.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported on Arkansas Highway 365 spur/Sheridan Road west of Robin Road.

Aprille Gammel of Sheridan said she was traveling east onto Sheridan Road and was in the turning lane to turn onto Robin Road. She said as she was passing the driveway to Redwood Inn, a second vehicle drove into the turning lane and hit her vehicle.

Damage to the 2006 GMC she was driving was estimated at $3,000.

The driver of the other vehicle, Bonnie L. Robertson of Kennett, Missouri, said she was in the driveway of the Redwood In and attempting to cross Sheridan Road and head west. She said traffic was stopped traveling east and a vehicle allowed her to pull out. The driver of the vehicle was waving for her to pull onto Sheridan Road and as she did, she pulled into the turning lane and struck the other vehicle.

Damage to the 2013 Dodge she was driving was estimated at $5,000.

There were no citations issued.

On April 1 at 8 a.m., Officer Bryan Hornsby was notified that an Arkansas State Trooper had Christopher Green in custody in Grant County on a warrant from White Hall District Court for failure to comply with a bond of $855. Green was taken to the Sheridan Detention Center until he could be picked up and taken to White Hall Court. The warrant was deleted from the Arkansas Crime Information Center database.

On April 3 at about 7 p.m., an accident was reported on the parking lot at 109White Hall Road.

Rachel Benton of White Hall reported that as she was pulling into a parking space, she pressed on the gas and the 2003 Honda she was driving went over the curb and struck a wooden railing and broke a wooden hand rail before stopping.
