Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Friday announced his intent to pardons a White Hall man.
The governor said he will pardon Johnathan A. Collins of White Hall, who was convicted of possession of a controlled/counterfeit substance, a misdemeanor, and and drinking in any unlicensed public place.
Collins was convicted in 2009 in Pine Bluff District Court, has completed all requirements and terms of his sentence and there have been no further criminal law violations. There were no law enforcement objections to the application.
He has completed all jail time, fulfilled all parole and probationary requirements and paid all fines related to his sentence. There is a 30-day waiting period to receive public feedback on the notices before final action is taken.
