The Association of Arkansas Counties awarded Bailey Nicole Morrow the Matt Morris Memorial Scholarship.
Morrow, a 2018 graduate of White Hall High School, is the daughter of Rebekah Sharp, who works in the Jefferson County Tax Collectors office, according to a news release.
Morrow will attend Arkansas State University and pursue a degree in sports medicine.
The scholarship was established following the 1999 death of Morris, son of Searcy Mayor David Morris, a former AAC employee. Morris was an Arkansas Razorback baseball recruit. The scholarship is funded by donations made in his name and by the County Judges’ Association.
