WH to honor veterans
The annual White Hall Memorial Day ceremony, honoring area veterans, will be held on the grounds of the White Hall Museum, 9009 Dollarway Road. The event will be held Monday, Memorial Day, at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
WH resident on Dean’s List
Dean Harper of White Hall was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2025 semester at the University of Evansville in Evansville, Ind. Students at UE are named to the Dean’s List every fall and spring semester. To be placed on the Dean’s List, a student must have carried a full academic load of 12 hours or more and have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or above, according to a news release.
Arsenal sets Color Run

Pine Bluff Arsenal’s Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation will host a 5K Color Run, June 7, at 10 a.m. The deadline to sign up is May 27, according to a news release. The entry fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children, which includes a T-shirt with sign-up. Arsenal plans Strongman contest
Pine Bluff Arsenal’s Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation will host a Father’s Day Strongman Competition June 13 at 1 p.m. There will be three age divisions, with the winner determined by overall combined total weight. Trophies will be presented to the winners, according to a news release.
