WH center plans Falloween Festival

White Hall Community Center’s Second Annual Falloween Festival will be held from 5-8:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at the center, 9801 Dollarway Road.

“Come Trick or Treat. They will have free candy, hot dogs, popcorn and water. They will also have game booths set up. This event is free and indoors. We hope to see everyone there,” according to a post at https://www.facebook.com/WhiteHallCC.

WH American Legion sets fundraiser

There will be a fundraiser at the White Hall American Legion Post at the corner of Huckleberry and Nancy streets Saturday from 8 a.m. until about noon. There will be rummage sale items for sale indoors and in the parking lot (weather permitting).

The indoor sales include kitchen items, small appliances, vintage items and children’s toys. The exterior sales include tools, bicycles, toys and furniture. Proceeds from the sale support the activities of the White Hall American Legion Post 232, according to a news release.

Square dancing events set in WH

Two square dancing sessions will be held at the White Hall Community Center, 9801 Dollarway Road.

On Oct. 10, from 7-10 p.m. the 74th Trail End Dance will be held. The dance is hosted by Levis and Lace, Mavericks Mixers, Star Steppers, and Twirling Lariats. There will be three callers. Everyone is welcome. The cost is $10 per dancer or free for non-dancers. Details: Rick Gesing (870) 883-1363 or Sheila Gesing (512) 968-4876.

On Oct. 11-12, the Arkansas State Square Dance Federation Fall Festival will present Twirling Under the Stars at the community center. Guests include Ken Burke and Tim Tyl.
