Watson Chapel Junior High School will host a Benchmark celebration in the gymnasium at 1:55 p.m. Sept. 19.
The celebration is intended to recognize students who scored proficient or advanced on the 2011-2012 Benchmark tests.
Events will include performances by the band and cheer squad, guest speakers and a special awards ceremony for students who received the top score in literacy and math in each grade.
