The Watson Chapel Wildcats were victorious over the Stuttgart Ricebirds by a score of 5-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
Jalyn Williams reached base on a walk, and Andrew Morgan would later score Williams with an RBI single to put the Wildcats ahead 1-0 after the first inning.

The Wildcats added another run to the scoreboard after Tyler Brown reached base on an error, then later scored on a bases-loaded walk for a 2-0 lead.
In the fourth inning, Kevin Compton hit a single, and Gionti Turner was hit by a pitch to get on base for the Wildcats.
After Jalyn Williams advanced the runners with a sacrifice bunt, JaKobi Jackson drove in Compton for a score, and Morgan drove in Turner to put the Wildcats ahead 4-0.
Garrett Dennis hit a double to right field to drive in Jackson, giving Watson Chapel a 5-0 lead. Due to inclement weather, the game ended with the Wildcats claiming victory.
Markevian Hence pitched all four innings for Watson Chapel, striking out eight batters while allowing one hit and no runs.
Morgan led the Wildcats with two hits for two RBI’s.
