The Watson Chapel School District recently announced its policy for free and reduced price meals for children under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2016-17 school year. The price is $1 for a paid student breakfast and $1.50 for lunch.
Household size and income criteria will be used to determine eligibility for free or reduced price meals. Children from households whose income is at or below levels on the application are eligible for free or reduced price meals. For example, in a household of one person, the annual income level is $15,444 for free meals and $21,978 for reduced price meals. Applications are available at school. Details: 879-1112.
