The Warren and DeWitt girls had the best showings among southeast Arkansas small schools at Tuesdays’ state track and field meets.
Class 4A competed at Pocahontas, Class 3A at Jessieville, and Class 2A at Quitman.
The Warren girls finished third in 4A, while the DeWitt girls finished fourth in 3A. In 2A, the Fordyce boys led the way with a sixth-place finish.
Between the three meets, southeast Arkansas athletes won state championships in 10 events.
