Several non-profits with local ties will receive Walmart Foundation Arkansas State Giving grants. A total of $255,000 was awarded, a spokesman said in a news release.
Recipients include the Arkansas Community Foundation (which as a Pine Bluff affiliate), Arkansas Special Olympics, TOPPS (Targeting our Peoples Priorities with Service) Inc. of Pine Bluff, Museum of Discovery, Morrilton Human Relations Council and the Jack Stephens Youth Golf Academy.
“The recipients are chosen on the basis they share the mission to create opportunities so people can live better one community at a time,” the spokesman said.
