These are the final but unofficial tallies from Tuesday’s preferential primary and nonpartisan judicial election in Jefferson County as of 9:40 that evening.
Ten damaged absentee ballots were reconstructed the next morning during a special Jefferson County Election Commission meeting, but they did not change the outcome in either race.
The commissioners also met Wednesday evening to adjudicate any provisional and absentee ballots.
Results will not be certified until March 13, according to Commissioner Carl Watson.
The total of ballots cast in Jefferson County was 9,573, including 67 absentee, 4,322 during early voting and 5,184 on election day.
