The Delta Rivers Nature Center will host its 12th annual Halloween event, Boo on the Bayou, from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 24-25.
This free event will include carnival games, face painting, bounce houses, prizes and candy. There will also be a half mile haunted trail. Shuttle buses will be provided.
According to Eric Maynard, Nature Center facility director, this event cannot happen without the help of volunteers.
Volunteers will be asked to help with setting up games, bounce houses and the haunted trail. Volunteers for the trail will be asked to come early for instructions about the trail.
