The victim in a Sept. 10 pedestrian fatality in Pine Bluff has been identified in a preliminary report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.
Edward Lynn Gragg, 36, was the pedestrian who was struck in the area of East Harding Avenue and Pennsylvania Street at 8:43 p.m. According to the report, a 2016 Chrysler 200 was traveling west on Harding near Pennsylvania Street when Gragg stepped in front of the vehicle, causing it to strike him. Gragg was taken to Jefferson Regional, where he died.
Pine Bluff Police originally investigated the accident and noted in a news release the driver, who was not identified, was determined to not be under the influence of alcohol and was released.
The weather was clear and the road dry.
