An area vegetable production clinic aimed at commercial vegetable growers will be held at 8 a.m. Friday, April 10, at the Lon Mann Cotton Research Station in Marianna.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in gardening, said Henry English, director of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Small Farm Program.
Topics will include disease, weed and insect control in vegetables; U.S Department of Agriculture updates and production information on growing cucumbers, watermelons, squash, cantaloupes, bell peppers, eggplant, sweet potatoes, southern peas and greens.
