Pine Bluff Interested Citizens for Voter Registration Inc. (PBICVR) will host Coffee with the Chiefs Community Meeting from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave.
Leslie Dorn, executive director of the United Way of Southeast Arkansas, is the scheduled speaker. The clergy, community and elected officials are asked to wear “pink or purple” in support of Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness Month, according to a news release.
Coffee with the Chiefs is open to the public. The program provides an opportunity for members of law enforcement and fire safety officials to interact and connect with clergy, community leaders, organizations and residents to exchange information and ideas for reducing crime, arson and other safety issues in Pine Bluff.
Pine Bluff Service Awards are also presented to recognize residents, law enforcement, fire and emergency services, city and county personnel. Details: 870-730-1131.
