Unified Christian Alliance Inc. awarded scholarships during its 17th annual Baccalaureate Service at Breath of Life Church May 4.
Scholarships to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff were awarded to four 2014 graduating seniors.
• Stephen Gregory Alexander of Watson Chapel High School was selected for the $1,000 scholarship. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Alexander.
• Charion Linwood of Pine Bluff High School was awarded a $700 scholarship. She is the daughter of Jan Fitzpatrick.
• Catherine Spicer of Dollarway High School was awarded a $500 scholarship. She is the daughter of Felecia Kimble.
• Shundria Martin of Watson Chapel High School will receive a $500 scholarship. She is the daughter of Kenya Hudson.
Unified Christian Alliance is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to local students who plan to attend UAPB. The president is Jennifer L. Lee and board members are Douglas Allen, Renice Davis, Katherine Powell, Chrishauna Clark, Joyce Butler, Betty LaGrone and Jean Holloman.
