Volleyball fans will have to wait to see the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff play at home this fall.
UAPB released its 2025 volleyball schedule on Tuesday. It features a road-heavy nonconference slate and nine SWAC home matches.
The Lady Lions will not host any of their nonconference opponents. They will warm up with an exhibition match against Philander Smith in Little Rock on Aug. 16 before spending the first four weekends of the season playing in tournaments.
UAPB will open the season on Aug. 29-30 at the Betty Austin Invitational in Huntsville, Ala., against MEAC squads Morgan State, Delaware State and South Carolina State.
The Lady Lions will also compete in the Belmont Invitational in Nashville, Tenn., the Southland-SWAC Challenge in New Orleans and the Texan Classic in Stephenville, Texas. Non-conference play will conclude on Sept. 23 with a road match at Oral Roberts.

The first three SWAC matches will be on the road, starting at Alabama State on Sept. 28. The home opener will finally come on Oct. 5 when Southern travels to H.O. Clemmons Arena. Alcorn State will visit the next day.
After a trip to Houston, UAPB will be rewarded for its constant travel with a five-match home stand from Oct. 19-Nov. 9. The Lady Lions will wrap up the regular season at home against Texas Southern on Nov. 14 and Prairie View A&M on Nov. 16.
Florida A&M will host the SWAC Volleyball Tournament following the regular season.
