The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Small Farm Program will sponsor a farm financial planning workshop at the Agriculture Demonstration and Outreach Center at Marianna.
The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. ato 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 9. Lunch will be provided.
“This workshop was originally scheduled for Jan. 22, but it had to be rescheduled because of the weather,” said Arlanda Jacobs, UAPB Extension associate and a conference coordinator.
Aimed at current and beginning farmers and ranchers, the workshop will emphasize records and how they are used to calculate funds needed for the upcoming operation. Cash flow projections and repayment ability will also be included.
