The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Small Farm Program will conduct agribusiness workshops for producers at the following sites from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
• Wednesday, Jan. 7, in Pine Bluff at the S.J. Parker 1890 Extension Complex auditorium, located at L.A. “Prexy” Davis Drive and Oliver Road;
• Friday, Jan. 9, workshop in Eudora at the G.C. Johns Community Center room at the old elementary school campus at 901 Baker St.
Discussions will include the types of records to keep and the amount of time they should be kept for; year-end analyses; annual balance sheets; and making income and expense projections for 2015.
Producers preparing records for income tax, financial-planning for the 2015 season or interested in obtaining USDA loans or other loans should attend.
