The Logan Stout era of baseball at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will begin next spring, and the Golden Lions released their 2025 schedule Tuesday.
This schedule is a step up in competition from last season with no teams outside Division I. Instead, it includes eight games against in-state competition and several road tests against Division I opponents.
UAPB will open the season Feb. 14-16 with a three-game series at Oral Roberts in Tulsa, followed by a road series at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas, the following weekend.
The home opener will be Feb. 25 against the Central Arkansas. After another weekend road series at Abilene Christian, the Golden Lions will travel to Arkansas State from March 7-9, then play UA-Little Rock at home March 11 and on the road a day later.
In a departure from years past, UAPB will play teams from both SWAC divisions in conference play. The Golden Lions will play one weekend series against each team in the league except Mississippi Valley State.

SWAC play opens with a three-game set at Florida A&M from March 14-16. The first SWAC home series will be against Alabama State from March 28-30.
UAPB will play two midweek games at Missouri from April 1-2, then play Arkansas on April 15 in North Little Rock. UAPB will rematch with Central Arkansas on April 22 in Conway.
The regular season wraps up with a three-game road trip to Alabama A&M from May 15-17.
