The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff announced the launch of its newly redesigned website, crafted to provide an improved user experience and greater accessibility for prospective students and their families, current students, faculty, staff, alumni and other visitors.
“We are thrilled to unveil our new website, which marks a significant advancement in our digital presence,” Chancellor Laurence B. Alexander said in a news release. “The redesign not only reflects the vibrancy of our university but also provides an invaluable resource for our community, students and families interested in learning about our wonderful institution.”
The new UAPB.EDU prioritizes user experience with a great number of enhancements, including:
■ Interactive Virtual Tour: This feature promotes campus events and serves as a recruitment tool, enhancing the visual appeal and engagement of the site.
■ Streamlined Navigation: Key information for prospective students, current students, faculty, and alumni is now conveniently located at the top of the page, making it easier to find essential resources quickly.
Independent reporting for Pine Bluff & Jefferson County since 1879.
■ Consolidated Housing Information: A dedicated page for housing information simplifies the search process for prospective students and their parents, providing a centralized resource.
■ Unified Events Page: A new, easily accessible Events page offers a consistent and up-to-date calendar of campus events, eliminating the need for third-party tools and ensuring a cohesive look across the site.
■ Enhanced Directory Functionality: The updated directory allows faculty and staff to easily submit and process listing updates, ensuring accurate and current information.
■ Dynamic Homepage Content: Automated sections for Campus News, Alumni News, Academic Dates, and Campus Events keep the homepage fresh and relevant, with users able to subscribe to receive updates directly.
The new UAPB.EDU also has an improved organization and navigation. Academic departments now have separate pages for prospective students, current students, and main department content, allowing for more tailored and relevant information.
The site also has enhanced security and is fully optimized for mobile viewing, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices.
