The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff announced the addition of a new resource for students of all ages and the community.
The Little STEM Library is a special gift from the Verizon Innovative Learners Achievement Program (VILAP).
Located in the front lobby of the STEM Building at UAPB, the Little STEM Library offers free access to a diverse collection of STEM-focused books and resources designed to inspire and engage young minds, according to a news release.
The Little STEM Library encourages a “take a book, bring a book” approach, welcoming students, faculty and community members to explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) topics.
Visitors are invited to pick up a book that sparks their interest and, in turn, contribute a book to keep the library vibrant and accessible for all.

This initiative is part of Verizon’s commitment to digital inclusion and educational equity. The program is dedicated to empowering students with technology and learning opportunities in STEM fields, according to the release.
“Visit, take a book, bring a book and discover the joy of STEM learning at UAPB,” a spokesperson said.
