The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Small Farm Program is sponsoring a public meeting about housing at 5 p.m Tuesday, July 26, at the Parkdale City Hall at in Ashley County.
Residents will have an opportunity to learn about area housing opportunities. Representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development will give a presentation on available programs.
Topics will include the 502 program for purchasing or construction of dwellings, the 502 program for purchasing manufactured housing and the 504 program for grants and loans to repair existing homes. Applications will be available at the meeting and representatives will help with filling out the applications.
