The National Active Retired and Federal Employees Association (NARFE) will hold its monthly meeting at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Building, 211 W. Third Ave.
Steve Lochmann, a biology professor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, will be the speaker for this event. Lochmann will speak about trash fish, how they got in the waterways, the effects of the trash fish and current research at UAPB and nationally.
There will be a light lunch and a short business session. There will also be an announcement about proposed and pending legislation from legislation chairman, Waymond Meins.
