Students at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff recently joined their counterparts at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

UAPB participants attended the UA’s Poultry Science Club meeting and career fair, said Adedeji Adetunji, assistant professor for the UAPB Department of Agriculture.

“Our students enjoyed networking with students and faculty at the U of A while sourcing graduate and internship opportunities with poultry-allied industries,” Adetunji said in a news release.

“The trip was facilitated to create awareness among students about the poultry science 3+1 Program between the two universities,” he said.

The 3 + 1 Program in Poultry Science allows UAPB students to transfer toUA in Fayetteville in their senior year and graduate with dual degrees in animal science and poultry science.

Participating students included Jacqueline Price, Nia Sims, Talia Jackson, Miriam “Daisy” Bradley, Missouri Davis and Jayla Downs.
