University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff track and field athlete Gregory Clerkley has been nominated for the Allstate NACDA Good Works Team, UAPB announced Wednesday.
The Good Works Team is a national honor which recognizes athletes across all divisions and sports for commitment to community service in addition to academic and athletic performance.
Clerkley, a native of Waxahachie, Texas, is a junior sprinter for UAPB. He is a member of UAPB’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) where he serves as a liaison between the student-athletes and the athletic department’s leadership.
A UAPB release said Clerkley “has consistently stepped forward as a leader in service initiatives, giving his time and energy to efforts that uplift the Pine Bluff community.”
NACDA, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, will announce the Winter 2025-26 Good Works Team selections on Feb. 4.
