The Arkansas Rollin Lions RV Club announced Thursday the opening of a 50/50 raffle to benefit athletics at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Ticket sales are available from midnight Friday until 5 p.m. on Oct. 11.
One winning ticketholder will receive 50% of the net proceeds, with the other 50% going toward UAPB athletics to help provide scholarships, academic support, equipment and other resources for the student-athletes.
“Every ticket is a small investment in our student-athletes’ success,” RV Club president Gregory Summers said. “This 50/50 raffle lets fans, alumni, and friends have some fun while directly fueling scholarships, competitive resources, and the game-day experience at UAPB.”
Tickets may be bought in several packages: six tickets for $10, 25 tickets for $20, 50 tickets for $35, 100 tickets for $50, or 300 tickets for $100. All entrants must be 18 or older and located within Arkansas at time of purchase.
Independent reporting for Pine Bluff & Jefferson County since 1879.
The winning ticket will be drawn at 5 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Simmons Bank Field. UAPB hosts its homecoming game against Westgate Christian that day at 2 p.m. The winner need not be present.
“Community support is the heartbeat of UAPB Athletics,” UAPB athletic director Chris Robinson said. “We’re grateful to the Rollin Lions for rallying the Pride and giving our student-athletes the tools to compete and thrive.”
