The University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology-McGehee will celebrate its 40th anniversary from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Delta Resort and Spa at Tillar.
The celebration will include food, live music and an auction. Admission is $25.
The McGehee campus and the UAM College of Technology-Crossett were created in 1975 by the Arkansas General Assembly. The McGehee campus was originally known as Great Rivers Vocational-Technical School, while the Crossett campus was the Forest Echoes Vocational-Technical School.
Both campuses merged with UAM July 1, 2003. Details: 870-222-5360.
