Courses as varied as customer service skills and advanced cardiac life support will be offered by the University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology-McGehee, thanks to a partnership with area health care providers.
The McGehee campus recently created a partnership with the Greater Delta Alliance for Health, the Delta Technology Education Center and the Delta Regional Authority Workforce Training Project to provide workforce training for local and area hospitals and health care workers. The courses will be coordinated through area hospitals and classes will be taught at the Delta Technology Center in Dumas. Classes began Aug. 1 and will continue through Dec. 15.
