The Department of Community Education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and area businesses will present a home buyers workshop.
The event will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the Sandra Campbell Conference Room of the Taylor Library and Technology Center.
Participants will learn about budgeting to buy a home, pre-purchase inspections, types of loans, prequalifying for a loan, the loan process and what to expect at a loan closing. Participating businesses include Commercial Bank, Parkway Bank, Simmons Bank, Supreme Lending and Union Bank.
