U of A names locals to fall 2018 Chancellor’s, Deans’ lists

Several local students received top academic honors at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for the fall 2018 semester.

These Pine Bluff students earned a 4.0 grade point average and were named to the Chancellor’s list and Dean’s list:

College of Education and Health Professions:

• Kathleen Bridgforth, a sophomore studying pre-communication disorders;

• Shaina Cheatwood, a senior studying nursing;

College of Engineering:

• Victor Awopetu, a freshman studying engineering;

J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences:

• Sarah Smith, a senior studying history;

This Tucker resident earned a 4.0 grade point average and was named to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists:

Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences:

• Lauren Zell, a senior studying animal science;

White Hall students earned a 4.0 grade point average and were named to the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists:

• Caitlin Bumpass, a sophomore studying pre-communication disorders;

• Seth Cobb, a sophomore studying pre-nursing;

• Alexis Garner, a sophomore studying kinesiology;

• Colton Rogers, a senior studying chemical engineering;

Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences:

• Devin Whiteside, a sophomore studying animal science;

J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences:

• Emma Buckner, a senior studying chemistry;

• Jeremy Camp, a freshman studying physics;

• Kendall Jackson, a senior studying biology;

• Priya Patel, a freshman studying biology;

Sam M. Walton College of Business:

• Charles Johnson, a senior studying accounting;

• Raj Kumar, a senior studying supply chain management;

• Weston Sizemore, a sophomore studying finance;

This Redfield student earned a grade point average between 3.75 and 4.0 and was named to her college’s Dean’s list:

• DeAnna Massey, a junior studying human nutrition and hospitality innovation;

White Hall students earned a grade point average between 3.75 and 4.0 and were named to their college’s Dean’s list:

• Anna Hunter, a senior studying civil engineering;

• Marinna Tadros, a senior studying biomedical engineering;

School of Law:

• Karie Bryan of White Hall, a second year law student, earned a 3.0 grade point average or higher during the fall 2018 semester and was named to the Dean’s list.
