Gov. Asa Hutchinson recently appointed the Rev. Jesse C. Turner to the board of visitors for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Turner is pastor of Elm Grove Baptist Church and executive director of Interested Citizens for Voter Registration Inc.
“Working to improve the lives of youth, adults and seniors in Pine Bluff brings me great joy,” Turner said in a news release. “Therefore, I am extremely honored to receive this appointment and offer my skills and counsel to UAPB on behalf of the governor of this great state.”
