The Trinity Village Family Council will hold its first relay and family fair benefit from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center Wellness Center track.
The community is invited to participate in the event, which will include food, a photo booth, a bounce house and entertainment.
“The Trinity Village Family Council is comprised of family members of Trinity Village residents, and works to better the quality of life for those that call the facility home,” a spokesman said in a news release.
Onia B. Walters, president of the Trinity Village Family Council, said the council has a vision of making a lasting, positive impact on the lives of the residents.
“In order to make their vision come to life, she says the council must be more financially sound. She said they’re reaching out to people who ‘really want to do something to help make life better for somebody else other than themselves’ for help,” according to the release.
The event is open to the public. Donation containers will be available and items will be for sale at the event.
“The family council would like to say ‘thank you’ in advance for your support,” according to the release.
