The deadline is Wednesday, May 4, for people to make comments on proposed amendments to the 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan.
The policy committee of the Pine Bluff Area Transportation Study is accepting comments on proposed amendments to the 2040 plan, which encompasses the Pine Bluff-White Hall urbanized area, according to a news release.
All federally funded transportation projects planned to be programmed and or constructed in the area during the next 25 years are included in the plan, according to the release.
The proposed amendments to the plan, which includes all surface transportation and transit projects, is available to review online at www.searpc.com. Copies are also available at the Southeast Arkansas Regional Planning Commission office.
Comments on the proposed amendments or suggestions about other projects should be made in writing to the Southeast Arkansas Regional Planning Commission, 1300 Ohio St., Suite B, Pine Bluff, AR, 71601. All comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4. Details: Larry Reynolds, 534-4247.
