Arkansas Tractor Supply Co. stores raised $24,132 for 4-H youth through the 2018 Paper Clover Events. Donations will send 4-H youth to camps and leadership conferences, according to a news release.
The Paper Clover Campaign, a biannual fundraiser is held in partnership with the National 4-H Council. Arkansas stores raised funds through donations made with purchases at the businesses and online.
Customers participated in the fall Paper Clover event. From Oct. 3-14, stores raised $12,700. Combined with the spring event held earlier this year, Arkansas stores raised $24,132.
“Thanks to our partnership with Tractor Supply Co., its team members and the communities it serves, Paper Clover provides more youth with opportunities to learn-by-doing — something that is vital to the development of their passions and interests,” said Jennifer Sirangelo, president and CEO of National 4-H Council.
The Arkansas funds raised are a portion of the more than $1 million nationwide grand total — the most successful fundraiser in the company’s history, according to the release.
“Supporting today’s youth means supporting tomorrow’s leaders,” said Christi Korzekwa, senior vice president of marketing at Tractor Supply Co.
Fund-raising efforts fund scholarships for numerous state-level 4-H programs nationwide, according to the release.
