Tractor Supply announces National 4-H fundraiser

Tractor Supply Co. and the National 4-H Council will launch their Paper Clover event to raise money for youth nationwide, according to a news release.

From March 27 to April 7, Tractor Supply customers are invited to participate in the fundraiser at the checkout counters in stores or online.

The donations provide scholarships for 4-H programs nationwide, where youth will learn about topics such as animal care, woodworking professional networking and civic responsibility.

“Over the past nine years, TSC and 4-H have raised more than $12 million impacting thousands of students, and we are hopeful 2019 will be our biggest year yet,” a spokesman said.

Fund-raising efforts from Tractor Supply’s Paper Clover event provide scholarships for numerous state level 4-H programs nationwide, and every donation benefits youth within the state it was collected. Scholarships are used for camps and leadership conferences, where attendees learn everything from animal care and woodworking to professional networking practices and civic responsibility.

“This program uniquely supports and encourages 4-H youth to continue making a difference in their lives, careers and communities,” Jennifer Sirangelo, president and chief executive officer of National 4-H Council, said.

4-H clubs are encouraged to contact a Tractor Supply store to participate during the in-store fundraiser. Those who participate with their local store are eligible to win a $100 Tractor Supply gift card through the Paper Clover Participation Sweepstakes.
