The 2024 Toys for Tots campaign is underway in Cleveland, Jefferson and Lincoln counties. Donations and toys are being collected for children up to 18 years old.
While several collection boxes were put out recently, O’Reilly Auto Parts in Star City was the first business to donate items into theirs, according to a news release.
New, unwrapped toys, tools, items, puzzles and games will be accepted through December. Current drop-off locations include the Cleveland County Herald; Rison Pharmacy; many Dollar Generals in Cleveland, Lincoln and Jefferson counties; O’Reilly Auto Parts in Star City; and AT&T in White Hall. In Pine Bluff, drop-offs include Reynolds Construction Co., Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, AutoZone and VFW Post 4455.
Monetary donations can also be made online at pine-bluff-ar.toysfortots.org. They will also be accepting donations at Walmart in Pine Bluff on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and during Rison in the Fall on Oct. 12.
Request for toys in Pine Bluff can be made at Highland Ministries and the Salvation Army.

“Often our older youth are overlooked,” according to the release. “Yet, they are just as vital and important as those taking their first steps. And, they might not want a Tonka Truck. Rather, they might like something to help fix their truck. For older youth last year, the Little Rock campaign gave away tool kits, electric razors, hair curlers, hair dryers, robotic kits, and much more.”
Also, families have already begun asking, “How do I sign up (for Toys for Tots)? How can I request toys for my children?” The agency is seeking more partnering agencies to sponsor Toys for Tots where families can make requests for toys.
