TOPPS (Targeting Our People’s Priorities with Service) will host a Grab and Go and a Parent Pick Up food programs for summer 2020. Parents may begin picking up applications June 1 at TOPPS Big Rec, 1000 Townsend Drive.
TOPPS will provide meals for children ages 18 years old and younger. The program will be held June 3 through July 31, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Children enrolled in the food programs will receive breakfast and lunch for Monday and Tuesday on Monday. Wednesday they will receive breakfast and lunch for Wednesday and Thursday. Friday they will receive breakfast and lunch for Friday, according to the news release.
The Grab and Go program is strictly for meals to be picked up by children. All children will be allowed to grab meals and go after being checked off.
The Parent Pick Up program is strictly for parents to pick up. Parents may pick up meals after they have completed the meal application and have provided a photo ID and a birth certificate for each child in their household.
Children who are enrolled under the Parent Pick Up program cannot also pick up meals for grab and go. COVID-19 safety guidelines will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of staff, children, and families.
