The B.E.A.T. (Breast Health, Education, Access and Treatment) Program is being implemented a second year at TOPPS (Targeting Our People’s Priorities with Service) Inc., a non-profit organization.
The program is open to participants in Jefferson, Ashley, Chicot, Arkansas, Desha, and Drew counties, according to a news release.
Services include breast health education, referrals for mammography screenings, additional resources for enrolled clients such as transportation assistance and food assistance.
B.E.A.T is sponsored by Susan B. Komen (formerly known as Susan G. Komen for the Cure), Blue and You Foundation and TOPPS, according to the release.
