TOPPS accepts summer camp forms

TOPPS (Targeting Our People’s Priorities with Service) Inc. is taking applications for its 2017 summer camp. Open enrollment begins Monday, April 17.

The summer camp will be composed of educational and fun creative activities for children. A day at camp will consist of affirmations and free writing, math, science and reading. In the afternoon, children will participate in physical fitness activities.

Events will also feature field trips, which include swimming, skating, bowling, art/educational museums, canoeing, fishing, archery, golfing, hiking, cycling and horseback riding.

They will also learn about acting and filming, photography, construction, computer coding, gardening, cooking and how to properly handle their finances.

The camp will be opened to ages 7-15. Sessions will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 5 through Aug. 4. Eva Belle, Allen Hill and DeVarius Rice will be the camp leaders.

Parents or guardians may pick up an application at TOPPS, 1000 Townsend Drive. The registration fee is $35 per child and a weekly pay schedule and further information is available by contacting Aurora Smith, 870-850-6011.
