The Pine Bluff Chapter of The Links Inc., will hold its 32nd annual Benefit Luncheon and Fashion Show at noon Saturday at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
The theme, “Fashions Across the Seasons”, will feature fashions to illustrate the four seasons.
The luncheon will also feature a silent auction, beginning at 11:30 a.m., of a variety of choice items, numerous door prizes, and entertainment will be provided by Ricky Banks.
This event generates financial support for many of the chapter’s community services. This is an international organization of more than 12,000 women dedicated to providing services and support to families and children through educational activities, cultural enrichment and civic support. The five program facets of the organization are the Arts, Services to Youth, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services.
Proceeds from this annual event will support an array of community activities which the chapter sponsors, including seminars addressing international culture, artifacts and literature; support to senior citizens; support for a student in Haiti; and a scholarship to a male student majoring in education at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
